It's Been A Long Time!!!

Sorry it has been such a long time since I last posted!! I know you all get up every morning hoping that my blog has been updated. Don't you??
Anyways, the kids are back to school (YEAH) and things are going smoothly . I started doing Before and After School Care thanks to the school being right across the street from the house. I have 4 kids that I take care of. It turned out so great, my kids get built in playmates, I get the whole day free to myself, we're meeting so many new people in the area, and I earn some extra cash on the side.

The kids have really adapted to the area and school. Nathan pass the State Test (WASAL) for his grade with high marks, we were worried when the teacher said he sped though the test and was afraid that he failed. I GUESS HE WAS BUILT FOR SPEED!!
(Nathan always reading, even if it's just waiting for the crossing guard)

Colin is back in Pre-School this year and is loving being able to walk with the kids to school in the morning. He feels like such a big kid because he is in the same school with all of them.
Madelyn loves her class and her new BFF Bailey who comes to our house before and after school. They have a lot in common, they are in the same class, her daddy is on Chuck's boat, they both have annoying big brothers, and love Webkinz!!

I volunteer in Madelyn class every Tuesday morning. Last Tuesday I got a call from her teacher asking me if I happened to see all the clown drawings in the hallway that day? I said no, then she proceeds to tell me that a lady approached her asking to "BUY" Madelyn's drawing!! I was shocked and so was the teacher. The lady said it had the sweetest eyes she had ever seen and that she would like to buy it and frame it to give to her mother that is a artist who loves clowns. Well I had to run across the street to see what all the fuss was about over this drawing. Madelyn said "Sure I"LL sell it!!!" So here it is....

I've turned into a SOCCER MOM!!!
Here is the Soccer banner Chuck and & I made for Madelyn's team. They are the only team with a banner so when we put it up the other teams tell our girls they wish they had one. I'm sure we started something!! I'm going to give it to the coach as gift at the end of the season.

(used all glitter felt, so the specks is the glitter reflection)

We've been pretty busy around the house. As of last week we have officially moved in!! Yes, I unpacked the last box that sat in the Gameroom the other day. We are slowly making progress in that room. This summer we are planing to put up new insulation, drywall and lighting in the Gameroom. I've been slowly collecting sports memorabilia from ebay and fun games along with a LCD projector with a screen I got off craigslist to load the room up with. I'm TRYING to get Chuck and the kids to hang out on there more. So it's more like I'm making an
"enticing" place to go be loud in and away from me. Here is the progress so far...

I'll post more after our "TOP SECRET" vacation we have for the kids!!!
OH and I'll see you all at Christmas time in SoCal. We can't have our first Christmas in our own house without daddy so the next best thing is a Sunny SoCal Christmas oh and a Disneyland trip!!!!! Everyone is welcome to WA for snow and cold next year.

Our trip to Leavenworth WA
Visitors come back year after year for this famous Leavenworth festival. Fridays the town is in darkness awaiting Saturday’s Lighting festivities – everyone gathers at the Gazebo to greet Saint Nicholas. On Saturday and Sunday the aroma of food booths and roasting chestnuts fills the air; holiday music from the gazebo encircles the village while youngsters sled in the park; holiday personalities stroll the streets; Santa, St. Nick and Father Christmas provide photo opportunities and sleigh rides are minutes away. At dusk everyone gathers to sing “Silent Night” and witness the lighting of the village and park as they are transformed into a magical wonderland of lights.
