Getting ready for Halloween

Yeap, we're already in Halloween mode around here. I bought a real cute Lion costume at Old Navy that will be nice and warm for Colin to Tricker 'Treat in. We got Nathan the Darthvader costume the other day and I stuffed it in my craft room so he won't be temped to wear it before the Cub Scout Halloween party. Madelyn's costume is still in the makes! I didn't want to buy her a store bought costume because I never wore one when I was her age. So I'm in the middle of 100's of yards of purple & black tulle putting together a tutu for her Fairy Witch costume. Now I know why I start mid September, all the supplies I need are still in stock, costumes are all in stock and not picked over, lastly I have enough time to get it all done and enjoy the holiday too!

I hold my first Girl Scout meeting on the 26th of this month. I booked the Navy Fleet & Family Service Center classroom as our meeting place. Now I'm really freaked out because now it's for real LOL!! No but really we can't wait to have a girl scout in our house. Chuck's really looking forward to cookie time. That reminds me Nathan will be selling Popcorn for Cub Scouts again, I'll be hitting up you guys (Grandmas, Nanas, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, BFFs) so watch out. Next year it will be cookies!!! Yummmm Thin Mints~
